Fix common problems

Check the file type and plan limit, then try a smaller optimized file. Avoid unusual file extensions. For paid downloads, use the product’s private file field rather than a public media block.
Verify the public handle, confirm the account exists, and complete any connection action Bento displays. Restricted networks may require a professional account or provider approval. Wait briefly for cached data to refresh.
Check that the GitHub username is correct and that the account has public contributions in the selected period. Private contributions cannot be reconstructed without the user’s GitHub authorization.
Edit the Location block again, position and zoom the map, then save. Refresh the public page to confirm the saved visitor view. Map editing controls are intentionally hidden from visitors.
Use the public post URL from a supported provider. Private, deleted, age-restricted, region-restricted, or embedding-disabled content may not play inside a block.
Open Settings → Payments. Confirm a supported provider is connected, charges are enabled, and it is selected for checkout. Test and live provider accounts are separate.
Confirm the exact CNAME Bento shows, remove conflicting records on the same hostname, and select Check DNS again. DNS and SSL activation can take time.
If the issue continues, email support@bento.surf with the page URL, block or product type, browser, approximate time, and a screenshot. Never send passwords, full payment details, access tokens, or private buyer links.
