Instagram Auto-DM

Instagram Auto-DM is included with Pro and Max and works with eligible Instagram professional accounts through Meta’s official API.

Set it up

  1. Open Instagram Auto-DM.
  2. Connect or reconnect Instagram and approve comment and message permissions.
  3. Enable webhooks for the connected account.
  4. Create a rule: choose comments or messages, enter keywords, and write the private reply.
  5. Save the rule and confirm it is enabled.
Test with a different Instagram account; Meta does not always deliver self-generated events. Check Recent replies for matched, sent, ignored, or failed events. If a creator moves to Free, incoming events are ignored and no automated reply is sent. Meta app review and Advanced Access are required before accounts outside Bento’s app roles can use the feature.
