# Free creator tools

> Use Bento's public image, media, and creator utilities without a paid plan.

Bento's [free tools](https://bento.surf/tools) are small browser-based utilities for common creator tasks. Current tools include image conversion and optimization, background removal, media helpers, and social utilities.

## Background removal

1. Open the background-removal tool from the tools directory.
2. Upload a supported image.
3. Wait for processing to finish.
4. Preview the result and download it.

For the best edge quality, use a sharp subject with visible contrast from the background. Review hair, transparent objects, shadows, and small details before publishing the result.
